Analysis for the Results of the Nomination on May 4, 2010.
I offered my candidacy for the United States House of Representatives, District 15 of Ohio, and the votes were cast on May 4, 2010.
My message was an authentic conservative message, a fiscal conservative message and also the social conservative message that included protecting the sanctity of marriage and above all else, protecting life from the moment of conception.
My message soon became “our message”. Many people began to support the message and did their very best to share it with as many people as they could. They can hold their heads high, with a clear conscience that they were taking the right action, the winning action, to help restore our Nation to its God-given greatness. The cause was right and it still is right.
I relied predominately on the use of the Internet to get our message out.
I assume that our message was forwarded to as many voters as possible. The voters accept their own responsibility to research all candidates and issues, in order to make a rational decision on how they would vote. In the age of the Internet, most folks can find candidates and their positions on their web sites. The days of not knowing are gone.
There are about 630,000 citizens that live in District 15 of Ohio. About 300,000 people voted in the 2008 general election. Voters are about equally split. One third are Republicans, one third are Democrats and the other third are Independents.
Therefore about 200,000 voters could have voted in the Republican Primary. Democrats could have chosen a Republican ballot, but that would have been too much to assume.
Of the Republicans and Independents, polls indicate that 70% hold conservative views, including those who hold to the protection of marriage and life.
So, that means 140,000 conservatives could have voted in the Republican Primary.
Less than 50,000 Republicans and Independents actually voted for a Republican candidate for Congress, of which our message received about 12% of the vote (less than 6,000 votes)
There were approximately 23,000 voters who requested a Republican ballot who did not vote
for any Republican candidate for District 15 of Ohio.
If 50,000 voted, then the logical conclusion is that 35,000 would have voted for the authentic conservative message. That is not what happened. The vote total was almost exactly the total opposite.
Obviously the message was not extensively received or that the voters did not research the candidate’s positions, or were just apathetic about the whole election process. I take full responsibility for not getting the message out to more people. I relied solely upon the use of the Internet.
For authentic conservatives in the future, it will be a greater challenge to break the grip that the liberal Republicans, in name only, hold on the 80% authentic conservative base in the Republican Party.
It will probably take an authentic conservative of great wealth to finance a campaign to wrest a nomination away from a Republican in name only (RINO), who is chosen, endorsed and funded by the Republican Party.
The local Republican Party and the Ohio Republican Party endorses and finances these RINOs. The National Republican Party is guilty of the same mistake of abandoning the authentic conservative principles of the Party and the platform, and endorsing and funding these liberal Republicans, in name only.
By the Republican Party pushing these RINO candidates who hold these socially liberal non-values, they leave open these candidates to be defeated in the General elections by Democrats.
This is why Democrats, who are now officially Socialists, are controlling Congress and the White House. It is why we have one party rule. It is why we Americans are being ruled and not represented.
So, I hold the Republican Party responsible for allowing the RINOs to control candidate selections, which has led to the Democrat takeover of our Nation.
Republicans have a platform. They need to stick to their principles.
What is happening is that most Republican voters are being deceived. A huge percentage of voting Republicans believe that if they vote for a Republican, the candidate stands for conservative values. About 12% of the authentic conservatives know better. That is why, in their good conscience, they will never vote for these liberal RINO Republicans. Their vote would be tantamount to voting for gay marriage and perpetuating our “American Holocaust”, the killing of our innocent children from the moment of their conception.
So what action can we take now? Bear in mind, our Nation is in the throes of being taken over by the Socialists, with the subsequent destruction of our free market system, the relaxation of our national defenses and the loss of our freedom and liberty for our children and grandchildren. We are now at the precipice, staring at a total economic collapse, not only in America, but globally. Just a minor event can start the dominoes falling.
Action that we can take is to identify authentic conservatives and support and vote for them. They may or may not be Republicans.
I believe that enough authentic conservatives will be elected to the House of Representatives and the Senate in 2010 to effectively stop the steamroller of Socialism, that is taking place in Washington. There still will be some Democrats elected because they will be facing the weak, deceptive and ineffectual RINOs, which will cause the authentic conservatives to vote for authentic conservatives.
The real change will be in 2012, when Obama is defeated and authentic conservatives will be elected, who will sweep the socialists out of power and return our nation to a free market system, restore our national defense and correct the social evils rooted in our nation.
Then, and only then, can the real correction take place. Socialists will be swept out of power and hopefully never to return to power. The great expectation is that socialism will be “tossed into the ash heap of history”, as President Ronald Reagan said.
From this point in time till the 2012 elections, the Republican leadership might come to their collective senses and promote, endorse and fund only authentic conservatives. This would help pave the way for the 2012 elections.
I believe this shift away from the liberal faction in the Republican party will usher in a new “American Renaissance”, in which there will be peace and the prosperity of a new expansionary period in our history.
This is not “drive thru window” stuff. This is not going to happen immediately. This is going to take some time and great effort to return to our nation’s God-given greatness. America is a very special place in our world. People from every country in the world come here to seek Freedom and Liberty. There is no other place in our world quite like America. We just want to return our Nation to its proper place, so that our progeny, all of our children and grandchildren can share in the promise of America.
I intend to use this web site for this new endeavor. The concept is to share authentic conservative ideals with other Americans. I will post articles from other authentic conservatives.
I will research candidates for elected office who would share the authentic conservative values and I will have a page for endorsements.
I will stay true to authentic conservative principles. I will not be affected by financial or political pressures. I will not succumb to the political pressures and the co-opting of organizations in order to promote liberal candidates of any stripe.
