John Adams
For Authentic Conservatives
Good evening,
Thank you for coming here tonight, so that I may share with you my concerns that
I have about our Nation.
Some of you may be interested in my background and my experience in elected public service.
You may find all of that on my web site: www.johnadams2010.com.
But I am not here tonight to talk about myself. I am here tonight to talk about our children and grand children, and those who are suffering the pain of loss of their homes, their jobs and their health care and also our Nation, which I believe is in grave danger. I would like to express my gratitude to our United States military and to all of you, who are related to members of our military. You are mothers and fathers, wives and husbands, daughters and sons, brothers and sisters of the greatest military on this earth, one that I have been honored and privileged to serve. As a veteran of our United States Air Force, I fully understand the sacrifices that you have made for our country. Many of you are still making those sacrifices. And what, are we doing to support our military, those men and women, our family and our friends? Those are the men and women who are risking their lives every single day, risking their lives for us, for you, and for me! Are we doing everything that we can do to support them? We must do more than just put on a sad face when they are injured. We must do more than make eloquent speeches. We must do more than salute them as they return to us, broken, in caskets. WE MUST give them the support and the supplies they need. We must give them the tools they need to succeed. We must allow them to complete their mission and to show the world that we are still the greatest Nation on the face of this good earth. And then we must bring our men and women home … bring them home as winners, because to us, they are winners, they are winners for every sacrifice they make, every minute of every single day! Until then, we thank them and we salute them… We salute them for their service, and we salute you, who are here tonight, for your sacrifice … and we pray that they return home soon to all of us, safe and sound. But that is not enough. We must also do our part here at home. We must do more than be sad or angry at our elected officials, both locally and in Washington. We must hold them accountable… accountable for the state of our economy, or lack there-of! We must ask the tough questions and we must demand answers. Our elected leaders are bleeding us dry. They are taxing us to death, borrowing from foreign nations and printing money faster and faster! Why all these bailouts? Why the Stimulus? Why the government “take-over” of our private businesses: automobile companies, banks and financial institutions? Is this progress, or is this merely indebting and enslaving our children and grandchildren for eternity? Why do we have an unprecedented number of presidential “insiders”, or as President Obama refers to them as his “Czars”. Why does a free nation have “Czars” roaming all over the White House, the peoples’ house, the house that is the symbol of our democratic republic? And who are they accountable to? Certainly, not to the voters! And what about “Obama Care”, which would not only nationalize our health care and take away many of our rights and our freedoms, but also take over a sixth of our economy? Here in Ohio we believe in our freedom to choose our own doctors. We do not want the federal government choosing our doctors, and we do not want them controlling our economy. Why are they using federal dollars to control our State’s rights? What has happened to the Tenth Amendment of our Constitution? And what about our energy and fuel, and Copenhagen? While we all want cleaner air, do we really think China is going to clean its coal? Should America be obligated to bear the majority of this burden? A burden that is financially crippling our country? Millions of our fellow Americans are out of work. Fathers and mothers cannot house, feed or clothe their families. These people are our neighbors, our families and our friends. And who is next? And just like us, they do not want hand-outs. They want to work. And they are willing to work and to work hard. They just want honest jobs, where they have the freedom and opportunity to provide for their family. And that is only possible in a free market system, a market that allows them the freedom and liberty to choose the job they want. A market that allows them to use that job to decide what is best for their family. This past year we have witnessed those in power in Washington trying to cram their What is happening to our country that we all love? Folks, we obviously have some serious problems, right now, and I believe that our Nation is in peril. Americans are not interested in Obama’s "Spread our tax dollar" theories of a utopian society. We are interested in our families, our work and the protection of our country, protection from enemies both foreign and domestic. We are fed up and we have had enough! Now, I promise to do whatever I can do, to stop this nonsense. I promise to raise my voice, our voices, in opposition to those who appear to be increasing the size of our Federal government. What actions do we take? In order to change the direction of our Nation, I contend there needs to be a change in our elected representatives. We need to vote out those who support the current failing policies. We need to take a huge “American Made” broom and make a clean sweep. We must sweep them out of our Peoples’ “House." Authentic Conservative Americans are determined to stop the fiscal irresponsibility and the takeover of our lives from those in Washington, and to return our Nation to its rightful place in our world. As for me, I am a Conservative Republican. I believe in the protection of every single life, from the moment of conception. I will not choose who I will protect. As a former, fellow human embryo, I promise to protect each and every one of you, all of the time. I promise to uphold our authentic Conservative values, including the Sanctity of Marriage and the Sanctity of Life. I will work to return our Nation to our free market system, balance our budget, lower our taxes and decrease the size of our federal government. I will work to secure our borders and provide safe, legal transportation for illegal aliens back to their home nation. I will work to support our troops and then bring our troops home as winners and Liberators. I stand with the words of President Thomas Jefferson who said: “The issue today is the same as it has been throughout all history, whether man shall be allowed to govern himself, or be ruled by a small elite.” My intention is that together, we can begin the process of throwing out the Big Government, "Spread our tax dollar" ideology, as President Ronald Reagan said, "into the ash heap of history." In closing, I would like to read from Ecclesiastes, “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven, A time to be born, and a time to die, A time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted, A time to keep silence and a time to speak.” Our time has come for us to speak, and a time to act. This is our time to speak up, and heed our Nation’s, “Call to Duty." As I said in my opening remarks, we have been here tonight to talk about our children and grand children, and those who are suffering the pain of loss of their homes, their jobs and their health care, and also our Nation, which I believe is in grave danger. MY FELLOW AUTHENTIC CONSERVATIVES! It is time to come home! Thank you very much.
"Spread our tax dollar" ideology down our throats, while our free market economy is burned to the ground and millions of our fellow Americans have lost their jobs.
So where are we going? What must we do?
We are all angry at those who are in power. They are tearing our Nation apart, shredding our Constitution, destroying our Republic and wreaking financial havoc on our lives.
