John Adams
For Authentic Conservatives
Life, Our Foundation
There are many perilous threats before our Nation, concerning our wobbly economy, our national defense, the integrity of our borders, the millions of our fellow unemployed Americans and our social issues.
I will speak up concerning all of those great issues, to give voice to your concerns.
But there is no issue more important before our Nation than the sorrow of abortion.
It is the single-most important issue in our Nation's history, and has been ever since Roe v Wade was erroneously decided, by the betrayal, of epic proportions, by seven men on our Supreme Court in 1973.
According to the Greater Columbus Right to Life Organization, on average, 4,000 children in America are aborted every single day.
That is more American deaths lost in one day than we lost on September 11, 2001.
Since 1973, over 51 million American Children have died due to abortion.
During this time that we meet here tonight, almost 400 American Children will have been aborted. 400 children.
This is a great occasion here tonight and I am pleased to be here and to celebrate the most basic and precious gift that we all have in common -- Life. My own moral compass leads me to affirm the critical emphasis that we put on Life in our public policies, not only for the unborn, but for all of Life, including Americans with special needs, our elderly and others. We must keep all of these folks in our minds as we fashion our future approach to healthcare and other key challenges that are before our Nation. I believe that any citizen, who seeks public office must be clear about his or her beliefs and values on issues of critical importance, because as we have graphically seen since January 20 of last year, BELIEFS DO MATTER Titled “Defend the Child” and “Pro-Life”, they explain my core belief. I believe that life begins at the moment of conception, and that all life must be protected with all the guarantees of our United States Constitution. Our laws must extend to those Americans, once conceived and unborn. I believe that abortion should be permitted, only when necessary, to prevent the death of the mother. I also believe that:
Now, I have posted on my web site two essays clearly stating my position on Life.
As a former, fellow human embryo, I will never change my core position on this issue.
“A strong cohesive family is the basis for creating a strong community, which is the foundation for a strong America."
A cohesive family begins with the protection of the tiniest of our species, those created at the very moment of their conception. If we cannot defend the very smallest, the most vulnerable, those of us who cannot speak for themselves, those who cannot defend themselves, the tiniest of our species, then what moral right can we claim to protect anyone in America? This Life issue, which is the true measure of greatness of any nation, is the most fundamental and “Foundational” of all issues before our Nation. When a child is created at the moment of conception, you could actually hold that child in the palm of your hand. Now, you cannot see that child, but that child is there. It could be your own child or your grand child. At that very moment the color of their eyes, the color of their hair and the color of their skin is determined. I believe that they are a gift from God. I believe that God dislikes His gifts returned to Him, broken. I believe that Life begins at conception and that all human life must be protected by applying all the laws of our United States Constitution to all of the unborn. This would give to our unborn children their protection of Life, Liberty and the pursuit of their happiness just as we, the born, are guaranteed. In order to bring this terrible national disgrace, this unbearable national burden, this suffering, this sorrow that has stained our Nation since 1973, to an end, and to establish law according to scientific fact, common sense and faith, I will contact all new incoming authentic conservatives to Congress and urge that a member proceed to the floor of our United States House of Representatives in Washington, D.C. And on January 22, 2011, less than a year from now, which will be the 38th terrible anniversary of Roe v Wade, you will hopefully hear an authentic conservative say: “Mister, or Madame Speaker, The United States of America acknowledges the right to life of The legislation would protect the life of the mother, if her life was in danger due to her pregnancy. The motion will probably be seconded. A vote must then be taken by the members of the House of Representatives. If passed, the Senate must take up the legislation. If passed in the Senate, the legislation will be sent to the President. The President can either sign the legislation that “Legalizes Life” into law, or veto (abort) it, and send the legislation back, broken. If the legislation is vetoed (aborted), Congress can override a veto, and then the legislation that would “Legalize Life” would become the law of our Nation. Abortion will come to a stop and America’s greatest national tragedy will come to an end. We must use our American common sense to solve these great issues of our time. We must stabilize our economy. We must create an impenetrable defense for our Nation. We must allow the unemployed to be employed in our free market system. And we must correct the social ills that challenge our Nation. This is about our children and our grand children. This is about our Republic. This is about our Constitution. We, the people, are the ones who will take back America, away from the Big Government Party and away from all special money interest groups. Our voice and our vote will become part of the new “Clarion Call to Duty“, and together, we will preserve, and defend our Constitution, our faith in God, our families, our Nation, our Freedom and our Liberty. We are Americans. We Love Freedom and we Love Liberty. No one, no Big Government Party and no special money interests will ever take away our Freedom and our Liberty. Not here! Not now! Never! “We will never be frustrated. Never be defeated. Never be lost. Never be passive. We will Never Give Up!” Like our Founding Fathers, and our ancestors before us, From whatever is in our hearts, And whatever is in our souls, And whatever we have left to give, We will give to our Nation freely, and unconditionally. Our generation of Americans, is ready for our “Call to Duty." I ask you to answer your “Call to Duty” for our Nation,
the unborn from the moment of their conception and, with due
regard to the equal right to life of the mother, guarantees in its
laws to respect, and, as far as practicable, by its laws to defend
and vindicate that right.”
"And all across our great Nation,
We will hear our Bells that peal,
That we have become One again,
Undivided, with our Founders' Seal."
As I have said earlier, we have many challenges before our great Nation, and we must address those perilous issues that threaten all of us.
This election of 2010 is not about us individually.
This is about our Nation.
And to all of those irresponsible, Progressive, "Spreaders of our tax dollars", currently in power, we say to them, and they will hear us say:
The greatest place on Earth,
A place we call home,
A place we call America!
May God Bless the USA!
