John Adams
For Authentic Conservatives
May 5, 2010
To all of my friends and supporters,
Thanks to all of you who supported my candidacy. From the very beginning, this campaign has been about our children, our grandchildren, our children, yet to be born, and our Nation.
I fought an honest factual campaign, stated with clarity my beliefs, principles and positions and made them public.
I never asked anyone for any money for the campaign, yet I received contributions that were volunteered.
I was not, nor am I beholden to anyone, nor any group. I did not sell my soul.
Thousands of people voted for our message of a fiscal conservative, including the social conservative message to protect the sanctity of marriage and the sanctity of life from the moment of conception.
I thank those and am honored by those many thousands of people who heard or saw our message and responded with their vote.
And to my supporters who worked so much on this campaign, I am truly grateful for their efforts. They took time away from their families and their personal lives to help get our message out to as many folks as they could. God Bless them and their families.
As for me personally, I am at peace knowing that I took the right action, ran the good race, stayed true to my convictions, knowing in my own soul that my ideals, that I shared with my fellow citizens, were authentic. What you read or heard is what is in my soul. You know exactly where I stand.
I will return to my private life to continue my responsibilities to my family and, to my business. But I will continue to work for the future of our children and our Nation in some capacity. I am not finished in life and I will never give up fighting for what I hold dear. I will pray for God's guidance for His calling.
Above all else, I will continue to work to see the day that the greatest Evil in our Nation's history, abortion, is torn from its roots in our American soil and tossed to the wind, never, never to stain our Nation again.
Thank you and may God Bless all of you and your families.
Stay positive +
Your friend,
John Adams
